Irshad Khan Abbasi has over 20 year of experience in the field of community and public sector development. His key sectors of specialization are participatory extension methodologies in agriculture and livestock, value chain development, aspiration based livelihood models, environmental management, climatic change, work force and infrastructure development, and social mobilization with special reference to emergencies and counter insurgency situations..

Irshad has worked extensively in development projects with governments, donors and a wide variety of national and international non-governmental organizations. He previously served as CHF's Country Director in Pakistan.
