Kong Phaloeuk has over 10 years of experience in Cambodia at progressively responsible levels of coordination and management, with a proven track record in successfully managing and advising a professional team in the fields of agricultural management, rural livelihoods, capacity building, regional economic development and integrated sectoral development. Mr. Kong has high conceptual capacities and valuable experience in strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation as well as the ability to manage efficient working relationships with all kinds of program partners.
Mr. Kong is a native Cambodian. He earned a Master of Development Management from the Norton University as well as a B.Sc. in Agronomy from the Royal University of Agriculture, both in Phnom Penh. As Project Coordinator, Mr. Kong manages CHF’s programming in Cambodia and is responsible for coordinating the work of CHF and its local Cambodian partner — PADEK. Before joining CHF, Mr. Kong worked as Regional Management Officer of the German Technical Cooperation’s Regional Economic Development Program, where he supported, promoted and established necessary linkages to enable rural poor of Siem Reap to benefit from the growing tourism industry. Mr. Kong is fluent in Khmer and has advanced English proficiency.
