South Sudan
South Sudan Livelihoods Development Program (2010-2016)
After decades of civil war and mass displacement, many communities in Southern Sudan have been left with the task of rebuilding their social connections and livelihood systems. This project is working to increase food security and incomes through improved agricultural productivity and marketing in Southern Sudan.
Sustainable Livelihoods and Mine Action (SLAM)
The SLAM project aims to promote improved and equitable development opportunities for conflict-affected communities in the Western and Central Equatoria states of Southern Sudan. The Project addresses the safety, sustainable livelihoods and development issues posed by landmines and ERW in Central and Western Equatoria by clearing landmines and working with affected communities to develop and implement sustainable livelihoods strategies.
