HQ: Kerri Wright, Program Officer for Africa
M.Sc. Capacity Development and Extension; B.A. (Hons)
Ms. Wright holds a Master’s Degree in Capacity Development and Extension and a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in International Development with a specialization in Gender and Development. Her studies are further complemented through field research in West Africa that focused on the intersection of gender, rural innovation, and natural resource management. Ms. Wright has experience working in rural communities, engaging in community mobilization and extension, and facilitating participatory community processes. She has contributed to a CIDA-funded agroforestry project that targeted resource-poor communities, and further developed her skills in sustainable livelihoods and capacity development in community-based, participatory rural development. Ms. Wright recently joined CHF as a Program Officer for Africa, where she applies her knowledge and experience to projects in East and South Africa.
