Munish Persaud is a Rural Development Specialist with a recognized expertise in capacity building, technical assistance, and process facilitation, particularly with NGO leaders, farmers and other rural residents. He has over ten years of experience in conducting workshops and training courses related to improving rural people’s livelihoods, access to markets and rural services. He has strong knowledge of the natural resources, agricultural and rural development sectors, and a sound ability and experience in analyzing socio-economic and political contexts. Mr. Persaud has a wide range of experiences in networking, building alliances, facilitation of multi-stakeholder processes, product development, organizational learning, institutional change processes, and rural development and livelihood strategy formulation. He also has technical knowledge of low external input farming systems, value/market chain approaches for economic development and proven experience of value chain applicability in the agricultural market and micro finance sectors. Mr. Persaud contributes his skills and experiences to strengthen the capacities of our partners and to plan, monitor and evaluate CHF’s projects.
