  When you buy a CHF Gift that Matters, here’s how it works.... The cost of your gift takes into consideration all the factors needed to ensure that it has the greatest possible impact on the lives of people living in poverty. Each item in the catalogue is needed for one or more current CHF projects overseas. Your donation will be applied to one of them. Once enough funds are raised for the specific type of gift you selected, CHF will apply your donation to another aspect of our projects providing livelihoods for people challenged by poverty. Since our bundled gift baskets offer items from several of our projects, these donations may support more than one of them. See where your gift goes: |
Using the SiteSelect your giftYou can select your gift from the homepage by clicking on the name of the product. Or, select a category from the left hand bar and then choose a gift from that page. Order a ProductOnce you get to the gift item page click "Purchase". Order More Than One ProductTo order more than one of the same product, enter the quantity of the gift you want in the quantity box of the shopping cart page. Then click "Update". To order various products, click "Continue Shopping" from the shopping cart. When you click "Continue Shopping" you will be taken back to the homepage. The system will automatically add Ecards for each product you select. For example, when you increase the amount of goats to 5, the system will give you 5 Ecards. You will have to hit "Edit" next to each Ecard in the shopping cart in order to personalize it. After you edit your Ecard, you can return to the shopping cart by clicking the "Save" button. Removing a Gift from the Shopping CartYou can remove an item from your shopping cart by clicking "Remove". EcardsAfter selecting your gift, click "Add to Cart ". Then you will be able to personalize your Ecard from the Ecard Page. Follow the instructions on this page and then proceed to the check out by clicking “Next”. Complete your OrderOnce you have chosen the types and quantities of the products you want and have filled in all the card information, click "Check Out." Then fill in your personal and payment details. Now click "Pay Now" and you will receive a summary confirming your order. Click "Submit" to complete your order. Etax ReceiptAfter your order has been submitted and the transaction is complete, an Etax receipt will be sent to you via email. Please allow some time for this process to be complete. The Etax receipt will be sent in .PDF format and will be attached to an email. To view it, double click on the attachment. Now that it is open, it can be printed or saved for future reference. |
